I always wanted to be a policeman. After a full career in the Chicago PD I took early retirement and moved with my wife, Matilda (Tilly), back to her home town of Dipperville, MN where I took a position with the Dipperville PD as station manager. This means I man the phones eight hours a day and do paperwork in between trips to the coffeee machine.
I sometime ride in Dipperville's sole patrol car with Office Burt Middlewitch who says he prefers to ride alone because it gives him a better response time to incidents. Burt has a lot to learn about police work and I have made it my mission in life to teach him all I know. Of late, Burt has been on sick leave a lot. If you call Dipperville PD, my voice is the first one you hear (live or on voice message). Speak clearly and do not be afraid.
Chief, Dipperville PD.
Sergeant Monday was promoted to Chief during a City Council meeting that got out of control.
