KOEH 108.3 FM
Dipperville lies in the hill country of SE Minnesota
deep in the heart of frack sand country
and 10 miles from Hoopdeville.
The town lies in a hollow on the banks of Dipper Creek
and all external FM radio and TV signals pass overhead
unheard and unseen.
Twenty years ago,
the Dipperkripp family
came to the rescue
with a license to launch the town's first
and, to-date, only radio station,
KOEH 108.3FM.
The rest is history.
or is it?
"The rest is history" is what media people and
philosophers say but, we, the townsfolk of Dipperville say
history is for idle talk at the Dairy Queen.
We like to think that the proper phrase is...
the rest is imagination.
Uff da!

MichaelFTI always wanted to be a policeman. After a full career in the Chicago PD I took early retirement and moved with my wife, Matilda (Tilly), back to her home town of Dipperville, MN where I took a position with the Dipperville PD as station manager. This means I man the phones eight hours a day and do paperwork in between trips to the coffeee machine.

I sometime ride in Dipperville's sole patrol car with Office Burt Middlewitch who says he prefers to ride alone because it gives him a better response time to incidents. Burt has a lot to learn about police work and I have made it my mission in life to teach him all I know. Of late, Burt has been on sick leave a lot. If you call Dipperville PD, my voice is the first one you hear (live or on voice message). Speak clearly and do not be afraid.

Even as the new Chief of Police I still answer the phones (no one else really wants the job).  I'm thinking of using my raise in pay to buy a new RV command center for the town - great place to command the surveillance drones that the feds have on order for law enforcement.

Alphonsus Monday,
Chief, Dipperville PD.

Sergeant Monday was promoted to Chief during a City Council meeting that got out of control.

Played by Michael Fischbein. Michael also plays Bob Brakeman, Trucker and Hauler.
